screen printed and hand sewn by me. 

48 hours of craft went into printing + hand stitching on patches. on a 1960s vintage orange crewneck (regular fit)

MEANING/INSPO:

“We fall like the leaves on trees, only to be reborn as a flower…but the tree shall remain.”

is the cycle of death and life (concepts of god)

…

the tree is a representation of god or the source, we are the leaves, we start on the tree and grow, fall, (fall of humanity / original sin), blow in the wind, (feeling lost but adventurous)

only to fall, and return to the soil (death cycle) only to be reborn as a flower being apart of the life cycle. never leaving the tree once although it may have felt like it (separation and oneness)

Design inspiration: RAF SIMMONS PATCHWORK CREWNECKS (black patches  repressing night / moon ) orange crewneck representing day / sun) (death patch = barrier between life and death)
